How to submit an event

SoVa allows members of the community to submit their own events to the calendar. You’ll be able to do so on the next page. Review your event carefully before submission, because once you submit, events cannot be edited or deleted except by a site administrator.

Email addresses are only requested so that we can provide an email update when/if the event is approved for publication. We respect your privacy and simply need a method to get in touch with you regarding the event submission.

If you’d like to publish your events immediately or would like easier access to do so regularly, contact the site administrator to request a registered account. Contributors with accounts will be able to publish their own events without waiting for approval and will be able to edit/update events after posting.

Please have the following information ready: your name, email, event name, date or date range, an exact start and end time, and a complete working street address for the event’s location.
