NOVEMBER

Martinsville-Henry County Christmas Parade

The 2015 parade theme is “Ringing in the Holiday Season,” and will kick-off with a performance by the PHCC Patriot Players. Spectators can start their holiday season to the sounds of prancing ponies, motors rumbling and cool breezes blowing the tinsel on the festive floats. Get that first glimpse of Santa before he slides down your chimney. Come early to do some shopping, grab dinner, and get a good spot on the parade route.
Saturday, November 21 at 5:00 p.m. in Uptown Martinsville, VA.

Reidsville Christmas Parade

Santa Claus is coming to town on Saturday, November 21st, during the 2015 Reidsville Christmas Parade!
The parade kicks off at 2:00 p.m. from the Pennrose Mall on South Scales Street and makes its way north to beautiful Downtown Reidsville! Homemade floats, professional floats, dance groups, marching bands, and much, much more! Of course, Santa Claus will be here too.

Owen Farm Tours: Christmas Down on the Farm

Santa will arrive on Nov. 28 at 11 am. Enjoy the fire pit, hayrides, pony rides, and Santa at the cabin.

Tower Lighting Show at the American Tobacco Campus in Durham NC

The countdown to the start of the holidays with the annual American Tobacco Tower Lighting celebration includes sensational community choral groups and other surprises:

Cast from the Sound of Music, Club Boulevard Elementary Chorus, Barriskill Dance, Lucas Middle School Chorus, Duke Rhythm & Blue, Elevate, and Santa Claus. The first 750 people receive a Light Wand. At the conclusion of the event the Triangle Tree Challenge comes to life and the voting begins! Santa Selfies available near the Trosa Tree Lot. And there will be a “Tree of Bikes” on the Burt’s Bees Patio.
